Hi, I'm making a quick site and all the content is on one page, and I'm using a small menu with anchor links to make navigating to a certain part faster for the end user. I have two anchor links that work fine (About Me, My Projects) but the "Contact Me" link jumps to a random part of the "My Projects" section. A preview of the site is available here : http://dev.cuonic.com/cuonic.com/ I have checked the IDs, they correspond, there is no random "contact-me" ID lying around in the "My Projects" section, I've changed the ID, still happens, and this …

What is the correct use of Anchor text? Does it ever happen that it is over used? There is so much said about this, friends share your opinions here. I want to know how much anchor text is enough.

I have a C# App with a form which has a groupbox containing many controls. I have the groupbox anchored Top/Bottom/Left/Right to ensure that it sizes appropriately to the users screen resolution. This app was developed on a machine running Windows XP and it has been working flawlessly for over a year on multiple XP boxes. Now, our company is converting boxes to Windows 7. I've tested the app on 2 of the converted boxes and in both cases the groupbox refuses to auto anchor properly to the right and bottom. The form itself autosizes to full screen as you …

I have relative links in a menu page of the form:
<li><a href="info.htm#part1">See Part 1 of the problem</a></li>
In the target page, the anchor is made as follows:
<h1><a name="part1">Part 1 of the Problem</a></h1>
Now, after upgrading to Firefox 4, I am getting a 405 error: URL /Part1.html not found. IE works OK on the same links. That error message does not even make any sense. Part1 is not the URL for the page.

Hey guys. Got a pretty simple question about getting my navigation DIV to stay in one spot. I've got a DIV that I have given a height and width of 100% and a fixed position to. I also have a background image aligned to center in this div. My problem is I am trying to have my navigation bar STAY in the same spot just above the background. I can correctly position it when the browser is maximized but when the browser window is resized my navigation bar does not stay in the same spot and 'moves' over the top …
