Hello everyone, **!WARNING! this function should only be use, WHEN ffmpeg PHP CANNOT be installed in the server.** I just got some free time from tedious and hectic school schedules. About two months ago, I saw a question about "how to get the duration of a given video file?". Of course, the common response to this question is to utilize ffmpeg php. Using the ffmpeg php extension, we can pretty much grab anything from all sorts of video extensions. For example, we can implement simple codes below to get the duration of a video file.. $thisVideoFile = new ffmpeg_movie("video.ext"); echo …

Hey you all I got a time calculation question. I'm attempting to do a lot of PHP and AJAX code appending to HTML. I want to know if my code below will accurately calculate the time of entire code being executed or solely just the PHP code. If it just calculates the PHP, what other code can I add to give me an accurate length of time it takes for the code to execute. <?php $before = microtime(true); /* A bunch of PHP Code */ ?> <!DOCTYPE html> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.9.1.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/ui/1.10.3/jquery-ui.js"></script> <script> $(function () { /* A …

Hey all - I have searched the internet with no luck, so I finally resorted to here to ask for information. I am trying to find a way to find the time it takes to shut down, sleep, and wake from sleep for a Windows 7 install. I understand that there are solutions (BootRacer, Soluto, even the Windows Event Viewer) to find out the boot time for Windows, but I cannot find out how to time the rest of these! Thanks in advance.

This code is based on code from series of programs 'Thinking in tkinter' This code is not perfect, especially it does not recognize key release when mouse moves out of button area during push. Leave event could also be captured for that to stop the event in that case.
