Hi Everyone! I need a really techie answer to this one. I have been practically shut out of my account on Google+ (I can still post but I cannot access my settings) and I cannot get into one of my blogs, simply because I won't furnish Google with a secondeary phone number in the form of a cell phone (I don't have one! I am one of those few people in the world, yes) I spent a good part of the evening last night trying to find a way to get in but to no avail. I left a message …

I'm looking for an easy way to be able to post to all of the main social networks including: Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Delicious, Stumbleupon and Pinterest (the first 3 being the most important to me). I'd like to be able to perform this functionality from a C# desktop application that I've developed. I'm only looking for solutions that won't cost me money, I realise I could do all of the work myself by integrating with each of the social networks API's, but I'm sure it would save me a lot of time if there was already a generic API available. …

Everyone and their mother is ranting and raving about Google+. I have a Facebook newsfeed of people begging to get on this new social network. Friends and colleagues of mine tried inviting me to no avail. Unfortunately the window to get on lasted less than a day. Now the system to get people on is completely shut down. In my opinion, this was a terrible move by Google. Yes, you are getting a buzz and everyone wants to flock to your system. However, if you're setting up a social network and want people to use it, don't you think you …

Hai all , I am trying to make a google+ siginin button for my site. I went through this link https://developers.google.com/+/web/signin/#button_attributes and tried to make it working but now my styling is all messed up. I am not able to mess around with the [class='g-sinin'] in CSS. This is my code: ![16](/attachments/small/4/16.jpg "align-left") <section class='login_G' > <span class='g-signin' data-callback='signinCallback' data-scope='https://www.googleapis.com/auth/plus.login'></span> </section> My css: .login_G { cursor: pointer; margin-left: 35px; float: left; height: 72px; width: 72px; background:url(images/register-google-sprite.png) 0 0; } How do I hide the default class `class='g-signin'` or make it good. If I remove the class inside the span then …

How do consumers engage with marketers today and what does the future hold? Those were the questions posed by the Greenlight [Search and Social Survey](http://gossip.greenlightdigital.com/magazine/the-search-and-social-media-survey-edition-2012/ ). The answers might come as something of a surprise to those who had all but written off Google+ or think that Facebook couldn't be a search player. ![dweb-socsearch02](/attachments/small/0/dweb-socsearch02.jpg "align-right") The simple fact is, as revealed by the Greenlight questioning of a cross-section of consumers, if Facebook was to launch a search engine tomorrow it could immediately soak up a 22% share of the global search market. That would be enough to turn it overnight …

Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced today that there are going to be a few changes to Facebook. The big story is that Facebook has teamed up with Skype to deliver video chat so that you can talk to your friends through Facebook. This is no surprise considering the partnerships Facebook has forged within the past 5 years. If you recall, Microsoft bought a small stake in Facebook for $240 million in 2007. This past May, Microsoft acquired Skype for $8.5 billion. You would imagine that Microsoft would utilize one of their largest assets to help power one of their best …

I should be actually asking this via a Google+ post but I haven't joined yet and therefore cannot post it. I hope someone here can answer it. Before joining, Google indicates that we are responsible for the loss of our 'data'. Now, the only important data I have on google are my mails. Do they mean that our mail accounts can get compromised because of a bug in Google+ ? Again I'm sorry if this is the wrong place but I need to know pretty soon since I'm turning down many invitations because of this doubt. Thanks!
