Hello Everyone, I wanted to start on a personal project to see how much energy I was using when I had my laptop, tablet or phone plugged into an electrical outlet. I have no idea where to start and was wondering if anyone could get me pointed in the right direction. I was thinking of trying to write my own volt meter application and using a timer to see how much power is being used. Any help is appreciated and also what language would work best for this project? Thank you.
