Allows publishers to create articles that load natively inside Facebook’s iPhone app (it’s iPhone-only for now), rather than sending users off to the Web. Facebook gets to keep users in its app, seeing articles that load instantly, rather than going off to a website that they may stay on instead of coming back to the warm, blue arms of its own domain. I am looking for a way to reboot the system and launch the program with elevated permission without user interaction after the first time the program is launched. The program I am trying to write is for new system. Part of the setup I want to perform system updates then reboot. When the computer has restarted check for more updates and install them. I want it to keep restarting and searching until they are all done. I understand it will need elevated permission to start and the user will accept the UAC prompt, but after this I want it to …

Write a program that performs the least mean squares optimization. Given a large collection of data of the form (x0 x1 x2 x3 d), your task is to determine w0 w1 w2 w3. The LMS technique finds these weights by starting with some assumed weights, such asw0=w1=w2=w3=0, and finding the result of the function using the first grouping of data. For each weight wi, set wi=wi+ nxi(d−y). Assume n=0.05 I understood I was to have an update function which returns void and is pass by reference. Also another function to calculate y. this is my code: [ICODE]1 #include <iostream> 2 …

I went to see if the update had been installed and it said it had been installed yet it also said I had 1 update, SMC v1.5 to install! I did the update again and it installed, now no more updates are showing but looking in the list of installed updates, there are several installs of one update on many days like a Thunderbolt update 1.3 installed 4 times! Am I missing something here, like …

Hello Group, I'm running with MS XP Professional, version 2002, service pack 3. Many of you may well have already heard that there are some problems being encountered by some users with trying to install the update for SQL S/Pack 3. KB970892. As I do a lot of traveling with my work, I dropped the laptop off to a highly recommended technician in the hope that he could resolve this for me. On my return he told me he had removed the software "SQL Server 2005 S/P-3" as I "probably never use it", and sent me on my way. Despite …

I use Win xp with IE 8, I want to do a windows update, I went to the update section, it wants to install MS Framework 1.1 Service pack 1, during installation it encounters a problem with sl56.tmp, consequently it ceases installation and needs to close. Before doing the update, I have done a restart and paused protection on the antivirus program, is there anything else I should have done before I started the installation. I looked in MS knowledge base but I can't find any info relevent to my problem. Can you please help me, thank you so much.

Microsoft has made a double whammy of Windows 7 update announcements. The first concerns a hotfix for a bug that could "cause some application failures on the English version of Windows 7 Release Candidate 32-bit Ultimate" while the second brings news of the arrival of as many as 10 'fake' updates which "will not deliver any new features or fixes." There has already been some concern over potential security problems with Windows 7, and consternation at how the 'free trial period' will be ended which some have described as being mental, so such mixed messages are bound to be met …
