Does a Jedi have a lower midichlorian count if he loses a limb?

This may very well be a stupid question. But it is one that has been pestering me for awhile now. Now you too will suffer!

I think that their count stays the same, but the concentration throughout the rest of their body is more concentrated. What do you think?

Darth Vader became drastically less powerful due his injuries, which included loss of flesh. Since midichlorians have sadly been introduced into canon, it's probably safe to say that losing a limb does decrease midichlorian count, which in turn makes a Jedi lose power.

So a fat Jedi is more powerful than a skinny one?

The Jedi Council put great store in midichlorian concentration. As we all know concentration is concentration, lopping off an arm won't change that. The body concentration doesn't change at all.

Yoda should have been a pipsqueak of a Jedi if it was down to volume alone.

Having said that, Jedi Flea wasn't even able to lift his lightsabre!
