Narue and her family must have had a very happy time this Christmas, as her baby was born on Christmas day. Her daughter is 8 lbs, 8 oz, and is 20.25".

I know it's nearly a couple of weeks late, but...

Congratulations Narue!!!

congradulations!
is it a girl or a boy?

Her daughter is 8 lbs, 8 oz,

I'd say it's a pretty good chance that it's a girl... :D

oh yeah lol i was skim reading :)

Congratulations to Narue! :D

most definitely congratulations Narue. Now the fun begins for the next 20 years.

i hope she enjoys being a mum

Joey really has access to some inside info -- either that or he must have read it on other forums where Miss Narue visits.

Anyways, Congratulations Miss Narue, and I hope the best health of you and your baby.

God Bless you both.

You got that right. ;)

Thought it was good enough to share with the community of DaniWeb...

Good enough indeed. Congrats Narue...

Great news! So we'll have a Naruite on the board soon, I'll wager. The next generation of DaniWeb members!

Congratulations Julienne!

Nitpicking as always, but I understood it to be the night before. And I'm only going with the boy/girl guess based on the name. ;)
Prelude's Baby Betting Pool
(That was quite a bit bigger than our girl -- ouch!)

And again, congratulations Narue and family -- all the best!

congrats, narue! more blessings to come!

Congrats Narue!

Yes, I don't think it came out right and I agree with the subsequent posts. I would have no problem if a moderator removed that and subsequent posts -- I'm dragging this one off topic as well.

I was only joking offcourse...

i know you were only joking, lets jus keep on topic, we should be celebrating naures wonderful news.

Will she return to daniweb after the baby or will she take a while out? do you think?

I guess it would be quite a while. After all she has more pressing matters at her hand than moderating at Daniweb...;)

yes i suppose
it will be a loss but i am happy for her

I would say yes. When, I wouldn't guess. (The longer the better, perhaps.)

Just as I imagine she'll return to work, I imagine she'll return to posting occasionally. My hope is that is less frequent, even though I understand the quality of her assistance; but I hope she'll enjoy motherhood much more than programming (I know I enjoy my children much more than programming -- bigger, more direct ups and downs ... but definitely more rewarding).

But sometimes one needs to "get away" without leaving.

And I wouldn't be so cruel as give a boy a girl's name.

>Will she return to daniweb after the baby or will she take a while out?
I lurk when I have a spare moment, but Daniweb is a very low priority at the moment, and will probably continue to be for quite a while.
