Television Habit(s)

Do you watch television? If so, what are some of your favorite programs?

I rarely ever sit and watch television (I rarely sit and even watch a movie, actually) but it is always on. Perhaps it is an American phenomenon, the television being on even though one is not attentively watching it; I grew up in the 1970's\ 80's and the TV was my babysitter, and to this day, it still blares endlessly though often ignored.

Some programs I do stop for or at least keep an eye on while I'm working:

• Are You Being Served? (classic, British)
• Keeping up Appearances (makes me LOL)
• South Park ;)
  
• Blind Date (a funny and shallow study of human interaction)
• The Sopranos (Ahh, The Sopranos... :))

I would choose the Internet ANYDAY over Television but my old friend Television will burn on until its tubes self-destruct, surely. :lol:

I watch very little TV. I'll go days at a time without watching anything. There are some shows I like...

American Idol
House
Grey's Anatomy
Desperate Housewives
Friends

American Idol is the only one I watch on the television.

The next three I go a few weeks without watching, and then go to the station website and watch a few episodes at a time.

And Friends is my favorite show of all time - I have that on DVD :)
