I personally don't want too many readme's in one forum, it confuses the newbies. The C++ forum had 7 stickies at one point, when I decided to unsticky a few of them including the one you're referring to.
But I'll see what the rest of the opinions are and consider re-sticking it if that's what people want.

I think it could remain a stickie. as for "confusing the newbies" I doubt it. They obviously just ignore them for the most part. Can't get confused when you don't bother to look... :icon_confused:
