that hyberlink doesn't seem to work. It isn't blueing 'The Future" and the rest should dissappear right?

The Daniweb forums don't execute code in posts because this is obviously a security risk. You can use a modified version of BB code (Bulletin Board) by either typing it in manually or clicking the buttons in the editor box.

To insert a link, you would simple click 'Link' and enter the URL.

I would highlight the text The Future, click the Link in the purple ribbon above the editor then enter the URL in the Link's edit box.

Or you can just type the full URL and we'll linkify it automagically as can be seen in the OP of this thread. :D
