Hi, I like using DaniWeb the problem is I want to change the name used the reason is I want to build my portfolio and I want to use my real name as oppose a made up name. I was going to delete the account and then sign up for another one but I realised that legally that cannot be done. My goal is to put a daniweb presence on my portfolio website using my real name and not a made up name. Can this be done? As I really don't like the idea of having an account just hanging out there.

Would not changing the "Full Name" field in your User Profile accomplish the same goal?
Unless, your Username is something you find to be unprofessional.
