Hello all, Id like to introduce myself:
My name is Max, I'm from London in the UK, I'm 46 years old and I've worked in IT since starting with Assembler on a venerable Amiga 1000 all those years ago. Iv since developed in C, C++, Pascal (Delphi) and Visual Basic (Not forgetting HTML etc).
Having been a long time Windows user (Although the jump from the Amiga 1200 to the PC and Windows 3 was something of a shock!) I have been running Ubuntu since January of this year, and I have involved myself with the excellent Gambas language (Think VB for Linux), and I am currently playing with Python and considering playing with PHP-GTK.
Incredibly I have missed this site right up until yesterday when I found a link to it in a magazine. I hope that I can find some answers to questions here and contribute by answering some myself.
