I have been trying to gleen some useful tips from various forums and sources to supplement my relatively low level of computing expertise, and have now decided to join in

I hope I will be able to help someone somewhere along the way but fear it will more than likely be the other way around!

I'm trying to solve a problem I've had since formatting my hard-drive. Don't really understand the whole drivers thing so can't get my usb, sound or cd drive working again.

I have a thread in win 9x section so if you could help it would be much appreciated!!
