Greetings everyone. I'm GTJack and I've been formally in the IT industry for about 12 years now. Was very technical for 10 years before that, but not working IT. I have taught HS (math, science, and computer classes), worked in the alarm industry, and now am a network engineer. My certs include MCNE, MCP and CCNA. Currently, I'm doing infrastructure management (Cisco) for a hospital. Novell has been my lifeblood in my IT career, but since tides are changing, I'm having to plot a new course.

Like many other techies, I do a lot of freelance work on the side...mostly small business and home user support. This is my main interest in this forum....to get ideas and brain matter from those of you with similar experience.

Thanks for allowing me to be here!

Sounds like you have an excellent background. Glad you're here to share your knowledge with us. :)
