My name is Tsono and I am really happy to join thi forum and hope that we will be helping each other all the way.:lol:

I ma currently working on project, which I have to design a capture program for a property estate and create a database for this and the information captured should be uploaded on the website.

Iam doing the project using VB6 and Access, as the client wants to pull out certain reports, but one thing that worries me is the security of the db. Soanyone with any ideas or who is willing to help with information it will be much appreciated.

with relation to DB security:

Access passwords are crap (did you know you can hold down shift key while opening the file to bypass it!!!!!!!)

Also, if there is a password its in plain sight in the sourcecode so be careful with who you let work on it
