Hey just a quick intro.

I'm an IT support agent and decided to try and break into the gaming industry(I know,good luck to me eh?:cheesy: ).Anyway I decided to start with java and then move on to C++.

So here I am,bought a fairly nice book over the weekend called"Java Programming for the absolute beginner : second edition" and I'd recommend it but in some places it's pretty sparse on detail.

So here I am,5 days into Java and with a 50% overall hair loss:eek: !
I think I'll be bald by day 10 but I enjoy the challenge:lol: .


Incidentally I've posted my current problem in the java thread if anyone was feeling charitable enough to take a look :)
