Let the rest of us know what your dreams are about. One of my reoccuring dreams is a trip to somewhere important, but I get stopped by a flooded river. The water is fast flowing but absolutely clear, so I can see the depth of the flood waters. In the rest of the dream I walk along the edge, but never am able to cross.

I rarely ever remember my dreams (maybe once a month at the most) and have never had one happen more than twice.

Last nights:

I was at a club with some mates, they said lets go out for a joint. We did, went back in and there was some people with Downs Syndrome tripping on LSD or something, then I was being interrogated by a random guy about taking pills.

then I came out of a cabin and saw a co-worker, wished her happy birthday and her daughter (who also works with me) came running up with her kid, except it was a mini-me rather than her actual daughter. I said something and woke up.

the other night, I was dreaming i was staying over a friends and on of them put a pie on my bed and i was acutally looking for the pie on my bed in real life. Then I woke up.

Another good one: dreamt i was eating dinner with friends, they left as i had to go to work, i was left alone in this canteen and i heard a door lock (which was actually my brother shutting his door). I paniced, jumped up (ral life) opened my bedroom door and yelled IS ANYONE THERE! 2 seconds later my dad was infront of me and i just stood there "woah, I woke myself up. night" and went back to bed XD

You talk about being interrogated by a random guy for taking pills. I think that maybe in real life you have smoked a joint with your friends, but you are aprehensive about doing anything harder. Maybe that is your subconscious telling you that 'you don't want to.'

You also have a lot of subconscious movement in your dreams. Generally, movement or restlessness, suggests a troubled mind. Maybe you are moving in one direction in life, but you don't know if it is the correct one. You mind is telling you one thing, but your friends and family are telling you another. The 'struggle' only manifests itself when you are asleep. Because it is only then that you cannot control it (your true feelings/anxieties)...

I read that dreaming brings your mind to order.

Another frequent dream I have is being able to soar like a bird. That dream I like!

zing zing. iamthewee wins. Except I never technically smoked a joint. One puff. Want to do the whole nine yards. Yeah the staying over friends waking up stuff is all tied into the recent weeks. (Another night, last week i was telling "them" to be quiet because I had to sleep because I had a driving lesson the next day, which i did but i was alone in my room!).

what do you make of the "happy birthday" to a work colleague and the mini me? I love analysing dreams.

You're demanding, aren't you. Are you like this in real life?

lmao. Yes I am. Everyone but a few hate me for it. Come on, come up with something good. :)

This morning I woke myself and my wife up laughing at some cartoon character. I don't recall the details but it must have been pretty funny.

Wonderul dream! You must have discovered some humour as your dream went through the shelves in your brain dusting and ordering the mess.

In one of my dreams I got so angry with an adversary that I took a bite out of his face and it tasted like an apple. That made me wake up in horrour, even though I like apples.

I don't really recall very many of my dreams, although I do have a few that stand out.

One was a river tubing event of some sort; I remember being in the tube, and seeing others in tubes of their own the river as well. Then, shortly before we arrived at what I felt was some sort of base camp, I woke up.

I've actually had that happen several times; I'm dreaming that I'm about to reach someplace, and I wake up. It's not goal-oriented, I don't think, because I always get the impression the place I'm about to arrive is somehow 'home' in the context of the dream. Any sikowanalists want to take a shot at that?

i have a really wierd dream when im falling onto a spike its freaky

I have several repeating dreams:

- I am building huge databases about really stupid stuff (e.g. the number of tacos eaten daily in each state) in Access.

- This cute girl is after me to the point of becoming a pest.

- I am working on a construction site. Suddenly I hear the "Jaws" theme. After the first 8 notes play, an expensive drain assembly falls off the pipe and shatters on the floor.

- Democrats have destroyed the economy with their health care program to the point where the only jobs are illegal underground ones. You can't work unless you hide from government.

- Judge Judy and Judge Milian are suing each other in Judge Alex's court.

- The guys from Law and Order burst into my house and force me to replace my analog TV and tapes with digital.

Hahahahahahaha

Democrats have destroyed the economy with their health care program

nationalised healthcare works. We have had it for 40 years

I laughed at it too, for half an hour, the first time it happened. It was the first time I ever woke up from a dream laughing.

I am very afraid of it. Our tax rates are high enough that adding national health care would push it over 100 percent.

I trust government about as far as I can throw it.

I am also afraid that the alternate medical procedures I need because of my allergies will be eliminated to save money.

Bennet, you need to realize that just how good something like this turns out to be depends entirely on its administration. I would not trust my government with implementing nationalized healthcare.

That is pretty sad that you dream about politics. Don't you get enough of it through out the day?

I think I fell asleep during the news, and absorbed some of the schpiel.

That makes sense seeing as I once fell asleep reading a book, then (I think it was a dream) random quotes from the book started echoing in my head and I could not think at all. it was very confusing and seeing as it is such a vivid memory I am not sure if it was a dream or not.

Well, building a huge database for anything in Access does equate to "stupid stuff", so that one should be no surprise.

I think I fell asleep during Rush Limbaugh, and absorbed some of the schpiel.

Fixed that for you.

That sounds like a nightmare. Looks like the only jobs left would then be with the government healthcare office. To pay for the jobs we would borrow money from the Chinese.

Thanks heavens, I have never dreamed about the economy or politics. However, I have had dreams about overflowing toilets.

They are very similar actually.

In some of my dreams I am dating some good looking fellow that forgot to take his viagra.

? is that a "happy dream" LOL

Strange dream last night. One of my professors, a rather rotund man, called all the students into his office to show us his exercise routine. He would lift one leg straight up in front of him and then jump up, so he would seem to float about a foot above the ground. He asked us all to copy his efforts.

I woke up will all my covers on the floor next to the bed.
