Hello,

im very new to Web development. i recently intalled the Apache server on my machine running Linux(Ubuntu 9.10). i downloaded the Apache server.

But, in order to run the html documents via the server, we need to place it in the /var directory right?

But im denied that permission. Can anyone please help?
