Hey, Im new on daniweb and have some problems

I recently managed to get a virus on my computer.
It caused fake security alerts and began locking out some of my files
and my task manager

I managed to get symatec antivirus Via packman,
But I still can't access my my-computer and my c and D drives

Im technologicaly inept so I have no clue what to do

How can I solve this?
I want my files back.

Well I looked through my system files and it turns out that the virus just turned of
and screwed up some of my utilities.

I fixed the problem so don't bother responding to this thread.
