Hi and welcome to the Daniweb forums :).

==========

Can you please do the following.

===============

Scan with HijackThis and then place a check next to all the following, if present:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

O2 - BHO: QXK Olive - {4EE62603-9BB7-462B-8A8D-E9F4BF11BE49} - C:\WINDOWS\boqnrwdmvdr.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: e404 helper - {A3D76B96-30B9-4DCC-9B3D-D12E31280D29} - (no file)

O3 - Toolbar: Web Application - {81705D67-3F73-4983-859B-97D0922E5ABE} - (no file)

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
...(Unless you've set these with an anti-spyware program like SpyBot's Immunize feature, have HiJackThis fix this.)

O22 - SharedTaskScheduler: djuka - {ee9f7cf5-cd49-4cd8-8ba6-1514e7a5c22c} - (no file)

Now, close all instances of Internet Explorer and any other windows you have open except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

Log looks ok. How is the pc?

well my windows live will not install now, it says that the 'windows live upload tool is forbidden by system policy to be installed' whether this is spyware i'm not sure, but i can't seem to find any downloads or any other way of getting the windows live upload tool back and i'm all out of ideas...

Not sure about that one myself. I am off to work now, so will have to take a look later.
