I originally had Aurora and although I can't see that it's still there, ads keep popping up and some hooowah site too. I am at my wits end, please help!! I'm pretty sure I've done everything recommended except for posting these 2 logs (Ewido & HJT)....

Make sure you tick AutoClean under Scan Options.

Panda ActiveScan

Make sure you tick Disinfect automatically under Scan Options.

Housecall at TrendMicro
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
Make sure you tick Auto Clean.
When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.

eTrust Antivirus Web Scanner

Now, let's open a command prompt by going to the start menu and then select 'Run'.

In the box that pops up type in 'cmd'. The command prompt will open.

OR

You can go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. Unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u pkshdrlh.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save typing them in.

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Open the Misc Tools Section"
2. Click "Open Process manager"

Thank you for responding- it's interesting that I ran Housecall yesterday and it didn't find anything but yet I just finished running BitDefender and here's that log- I am running a second one Panda right now but was worried that BitDefender was not able to clear out what it found. Do I just keep going? At the end of the scan it said my computer was still infected?

Thank you so much- I've done what you suggested and it appears gone although I can't help but feel that something is still there. I keep getting popups for hooowah.com, winfixer.com and something is trying to access pops-stop or something similiar through my firewall and I know that's associated with a virus or something. Symantec links it to : Spyware.SafeSurfing ?

Most recent HJT log- As for the performance of my pc, I'm not sure how to tell if it's doing better because I've loaded so many anti virus sw, firewalls and other things, everything was blocked and I really don't know how to get back to the settings I had prior to all this happening. For some reason I cannot click on a link anymore, I used to be able to click on a link and it would take me directly there, but now I have to right click, open and it opens a new page which is rather irritating....?

Can anyone check my log above? I'm still getting pop ups and not sure if they are supposed to be there or part of that stuff I had?

Download the Hoster.
Run it and press "Restore Original Hosts" and press "OK". Exit Program.
Note that if you have a custom host file, this will remove it. You can edit the host file with this program too.
