Hi, im new to the forum

Background story-
i recently had a big big spyware problem, i had a windows update seeming dialogue in the taskbar telling me, some one was accsesing my computer click here to fix it (i did and it was fake!), this installed a prgramme which kept installing itself and other nasties called spyaxe, however i used the guide here roughly http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic36868.html and it fixed it.

Problem-

however since this happened im kinda paranoid of what else has got in my system, as it seems to run slower\differantly even though ad-aware, microsoft anti spyware cant find anything.

ive also had a problem for quite a while but ive only just realised it could be spyware casuing it when reading your forums, that whenever windows starts i get a error message- RUNDLL- Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSA64CHK.dll, the specified module could not be found.

anyhelp would be tremendous, these forums are gods!

thanks in advance :cheesy:

There seem to be some infections on ur computer

U said Adaware and MS Antispyware couldnt find anything, try ewido see it might catch up some infections

and always scan the computer in safe mode with system restore disabled

There are some unnecessary programs running during startup which will slow down the startup process
Note iam not saying these are viruses but unnecessary programs and its upto u to remove them from startup

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroFilterCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\bin\jusched.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iTunesHelper] "C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MessengerHelperWatch] C:\PROGRA~1\MESSEN~2\MSNHEL~1.EXE

Go to Run and type msconfig and remove these entries if u dont wanna run them during startup

As far as "RUNDLL- Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSA64CHK.dll" is concerned put a check on "O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MP3download] rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSA64CHK.dll,DllMostrar Matrix_HTML:MP3download:t" and click on fix and let hijackthis fix it
