Ever since the last virus I thought I had removed, my PC has been acting strange. Every time a run superantispyware it will find a critial threat, a broken file assocation. When I try to shut windowns down or restart, I get 3 not responding messages about Rundll before the computer will shut down/restart. I read a similar post on the site and downloaded HJT and here is the log I got.

Rundll is not a process from windows.
However rundll32.exe is a process from windows, and should be safe.
As some viruses use a similar name to "Rundll32.exe", Rundll.exe is probably virus-related.

You could try to open up taskmanager.
CTRL + SHIFT + ESC

And go to the "processes" tab.
If you see 'Rundll.exe' right-click it and select "End process".
As Rundll32.exe doesn't need to be running, probably rundll.exe doesn't either.
If you see both running, or more than one process with similar name, I guess you haven't
completely removed the virus.

Rundll32.exe is turned on automatically whenever you play a game or execute a program.
Therefore, this doesn't have to be executing.

Hope that helps.

117, thank you so much for your info.

Its always a little bit uneasy to just end processes before you know what they are doing, your info helped me out a lot.

Thanks again.

You're welcome.
