Hello

Grub is a bootloader which loads the kernel into memory to execute. Grub does not do RAID 0. The solution is simple. Put a small partition on a drive for the /boot directory. Grub will be able to access that partition properly if it is RAID 1 or not RAIDed at all. I wonder why you are doing an installation on RAID 0. Are you short of space/using small old drives? /boot takes only 100 MB or so to hold a kernel and its initrd. If you are not short of space, use RAID 1 for redundancy/multiple read/write heads and the problem should disappear.
