Hello. I downloaded and installed John The Ripper, but only appears to work with MD5 hashes. Does it work with others (like Salt SH1) and if so, how to change it. I installed it via MacPorts (Darwin Ports). Is there any online manuals or something of that sort for it? Any help would be appreciated!


Also, is there such thing as a hash converter available for the mac that allows you to convert password hashes to different formats (say Salt SH1 to MD5)?
