I was transferring a folder on my desktop and accidentally hit replaced. I didn't want to replace the folder, is there anyway of recovering it?? PLEASE HELP ASAP! THANKS!

Hey, just somehow trashed some reallly important files and the emptied trash. From what I understand, these files are still on my hard drive but I don't know how to recover or restore them. I really need some help, gotta get these files back...
