I saw that already... The way you said it was just like if death penalty was shooting a guy with a cheap bullet and gun.

:lol:

You really thought that I didn't know what it was?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I asked you to get where I was wrong about my stats ...

You know exactly what you were posting. It's quit obvious you got that from a biased muslim terrorist website.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

Yeah but atleast they are not interfering in other countries ...

I asked you to get where I was wrong about my stats ...

I just wanted to discuss all that stuff but the people here are opposing me for the sole sake of opposition ... no positive comments ...

You talk about Pakistan ... okay I tell you my views ............. I oppose Pakistan for being a front line state against "terrorism" ... I oppose Saudia Arabia for supporing the US ... I oppose all the Muslim countries for supporting the US and I oppose all the world for being in war against terrorist without defining terrorism clearly ...

But I do think that 9 11 was a terrorist attack ... but just blaming Taliban or Osama for the attacks without proofs wasnt at all fair.

I only wanted to discuss here ... but I dont think anyone is gonna discuss anything neutrally ... so I wont be posting here anymore ...

** I request the admin to close this thread. Its affecting the site's cause.

Don't have someone else close this thread just because you've pissed some people off with your terriost views. What did you expect from the comments you've made?

What do you mean defining terrorism? It was obvious what Sadam was doing. If you don't call gasing millions of your own people, and killing thousands more, terrorism, then you have problems.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

No, I said that was stupid. I believe we should speed the process up, which is why I metioned the bullet and gun. You need to read more carefully next time.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

Yeah me too. I thought it was kind of easy. I took a few practice exams, and they were much harder than the real thing.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

It's not as simple as that. There sometimes are multiple month of court hearings before they decide to execute someone. They don't just buy a bullet and kill these people.

Months?

Actually, on average it takes 6 years before executing someone...Which is stupid.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

Pakistan isnt a thousand year old ... if you want to find trash about Pakistan ... go find some ... I'm not gonna stop you.

I can't escape it. Each time I turn on the news there's some crap about Pakistani's confused about there own country.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

Consider the source. This is not American History but a spouting of unsupported rhetoric from a tainted source, an islamic web page. Where is the bibliography? Where is the reference to support the statements? Non-existant.

Iraq FACT: Sadaam has killed and tortured hundreds of thousands of his own countrymen.

Iraq FACT: Today, Iraq´s new government took over control of its own fate. Not likely if, as you claim, the US invaded the country ¨to take it over¨.

Thank you.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

For those of you who want "FACTS" and "FIGURES" and have the intellect to judge 'GOOD' from 'EVIL' ... see this :

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yeah, get the facts from a clearly biased source. If you want to do that kind of junk, I'm sure I can EASILY find LOTS of trash on Pakistan. You guys have been too busy killing each other for the last thousand years to control yourself...No wonder you can't figure out why the US is intervening.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

Having someone executed by death penalty is more expensive than keeping him in prison doesn't it? I mean, all the procedures in court and everything cost a lot!! You don't just apply death penalty to someone because you want to....

Uhhh NO. You can purchase a bullet for a penny, and there are some pretty inexpensive guns out there...

Death penalty for smaller offenses is exactly what we need...but I wont get into my views on that subject.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

It's the same with all crime effectively. When a murderer gets only two years in prison because he was declared mentally unstable (which seems easy enough, just act weird during the interview with the shrink I guess) there's something fundamentally wrong with the justice system.

The "rights" of criminals in our societies are now more important than the rights of their victims. The number of cases thrown out because of technicalities is skyrocketing, and these include cases where the evidence is overwhelming and the accused has admitted guilt more often than not.

In such an environment enforcing laws where the evidence is often ethereal is tough. If the criminal claims the evidence was planted he's more or less guaranteed to walk free.

What I find stupid, is that it costs $35,000 FOR EACH PRISONER each year at a big prision. Not only that, but the stupid lawsuits are costing the states millions.

How in the world could anybody get a negative reputation for just starting this topic - It has nothing to do with expressing an opinion - because the matter was presented objectively - this is a good forum - but if checks and balances are not put in place - will just have to stop sharing breaking Webmaster news

How do you get negative rep for chit chat?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

That's redicilous. I thought the shipping cost actually went to the Shipping! So , really it goes to the person that is sending it?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

YOU need to review history! The US came in late because the bloody Japs kicked your arse bigtime at Pearl Harbour and shook you out of your smug indifference!

Yeah, they took a cheap shot, but they got what they deserved not to long after.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I see how different the people of both sides of the world have their views about the same thing... People here believe that the Americans are terrarists cuz they interfere everywhere ... No solid reason of attacking Afghanistan or Iraq has yet been given ... I personally think that destroying 300,000 for 3000 isnt that fair as you people think. Is that ?? (I dont read much of the news so the figures are mere imagination).

300,000 for 3000?

What does that represent?

You said the US has been in war over 200 years, look at the freaking Middle East. Those dummys are at war almost everyday. I hear about suicide bombings all the time, but not in the US? It's like, you guys don't even like your own country. Something must be wrong, or else you guys wouldn't be fighting yourselfs.

I was thinking about that. I haven't seem shipping charges for less than $20, which is redicilous.

Do you know the encryption scheme?

If it's for a well known program, chances are you will need to do some research on how to break it. My guess is that it's got some kind of 128 bit encryption scheme going, and the work for that would be HAAARRRDDD.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

it's sufficient to say that the US is in Iraq and cannot leave without some resolution.

EXACTLY. It will be a couple of years, possible up to 10 before this thing is resolved. Were there, and we need to finish.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I know how. It depends on what you have encrypted. If you don't know the encryption scheme then you've got some work ahead of you. Take the ceaser cypher for instance, to reverse the working of that, you simply do something like this:

public String shiftBack(String text)
	{
		long convert = 0;
		String finalResult = "";

		for (int i=0; i<text.length(); i++)
		{
			convert = (long)text.charAt(i) -3;
			finalResult += (char)convert;
		}

		return finalResult;
	}

Of course if your trying to break some ecryption, the work is beyond the scope of me.

Thanks guys.

I was a little skepticle(Spelling?) about buying off ebay, because I've heard that most people are there just to pass the problem to someone else. There is one problem though, I really like the Dell's, but I don't have enough money. I've made about $140 that I can use.

Do you think buying used off amazon would be ok? Or is the risk for such technology still great?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I would like to purchase a PDA sometime in the future. It will mostly be used for programming and stuff like that. Ebay has a bunch of these things, but I don't know what to look for, what brands are the best, and if ebay is safe enough to buy something of that quality off of.

I have been looking at the dells, but I just don't know about buying on ebay.

Please give me a good supply of suggestions and comments!

The numbers aren't the important thing in the war... regardless of how many people have lost their lives, it's the fact that they lost their lives that concerns me. Nobody should have been shipped out to die in the desert because of a matter like this.

I love how you totally ignored my point about the Russian nuclear weapons floating around the world... I didn't think you'd have much to say to that.

So they shouldn't have been shipped over for a matter like this? Did you ever read about the things Sadam did to his people? Obviously not. You talk about how we should intervine in Africa because you THINK genocide is still going on.

You just don't make ANY sense. You've implied that intervention is bad, but yet you say we should be in Africa. You said we shouldn't be in Iraq, but yet you want us in Africa for a lesser circumstance.

About Russia, it's funny you talk bad about intervining in the Middle East, because that's where most of those nukes are. But ohh wait, you said we shouldn't be in the Middle East, once again your changing your side.

If your going to argue with me, at least don't do like our Presidents opponent John Kerry did in debates and continously switch sides. It's really annoying. I can't figure out if your just a far left liberal hypocryte, or just don't know what your talking about.

Yes, they violated UN sanctions about monitoring, but is that a reason to go to war and send large amounts of people to their death?

And you were the one telling me to read a history book? Take a look at numbers. This has been one of the most succesful wars ever. Can you name a war that had fewer deaths than this one,and accomplished the "cause"? Don't think so.

You implicitly include hints that intervention is a bad thing. If you haven't realized it, read your responses again. Pretty obvious, even to the dumbest. Support is intervention, right? and your going off about us supporting Israel? You preach Isolationism... A concept that doesn't work in this day and age.

By the way, you know America is hated across the middle east because we represent everything they are against, and don't have..in which they envy us...But of course you didn't know that..

Now, you were ranting about Africa and genocide, but your not even sure if it's still going on today? What's up with that?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I am more concerned about the war than some because as a Briton I believe that my country should not have been involved at all. Hopefully Labor will be voted out this year and then Britian can finally get some well deserved peace.

Which brings me on to another question.

Do you personally think the all out war was a good idea?

I really like Tony Blair, and I hope Bush hasen't cost him the election.
Anyways, I think war was a terrible decision. We have enough problems of our own. Right now, we are over in North Korea protecting their borders, when our country desperately needs our borders protected...But that's an issue I'd rather not get into! I personally don't like the choices that's been made, but there is nothing I can do about them. It's really too late to pull out of Iraq right now, and we would look silly to just leave them at total anarachy.

It's a hard topic to talk about. I don't agree with it, but nothing I can do.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I got my Dell DJ today. I have to say it is much better then the iPod. The sound quality is good. The usability is great. If anyone else is thinking about buying a hard drive mp3 player I would definitely go with the dell, and not go with the hyped up iPod.

Good choice. I wish I could get one, but I don't have the money.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

Supporting Israel like the US does certainly doesn't help our reputation around the middle east, nor does conquering a soverign nation like Iraq. As far as Africa, I was pointing out that the US isn't intervening, despite the fact that millions of people are being murdered... oil is more important evidently. Weapons of mass destruction.. what about North Korea? Bush is holding onto the idea that negotiations will work, while Kim Jong-Il won't even negotiate anymore. And we know that he has nuclear weapons, and being as unstable as he is, he just might use them. Harboring terrorists? Gimme a break... the United States is not well liked in the middle east, so this should come as no suprise.
/QUOTE]

Once again, your spinning. Your worried about our reputation and don't like the way we intervine, but you want us to do something about Africa? We've sent billions over to that country. They are a soveriegn Continent all together, and you bash bush about intervining in Iraq? Try to keep one point of view, the switching back and forth is confusing me.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

Energy saving national projects should be put into action, but of course Bush won't do that, because it'll take away potential profits from big business. Of course the prices will be high by simple economic laws, but go figure, political matters are capable of effecting trade too!

Really? Are you sure? I swear a simple search on google brought up millions of finds on Bush's energy proposal which support production over conservation..

Where did you get that information from? I'll believe it when you site a non-biased source.

I guess it could be a question of morals, but Piracy has become a common thing for most. Once people do something wrong for so long and it's accepted by the community, then their conscious(spellng?) shrinks. So, some people may feel like their doing nothing wrong.

If the western world wouldn't antagonize the middle east, then maybe our oil prices wouldn't be so high. Well maybe people wouldn't be so pissed if they didn't drive $50,000 mobile fortresses that get half a mile to a gallon. It is a sad state of affairs in the world when people are more worried about high prices than genocide in Africa.

First of all, have you ever heard of a thing called supply and demand? Oil is being produced as FAST as it can possibly be produced. The western world "antagonizing"(as you put it) the middle east has nothing to do with oil prices. The demand is simply to high.

Wait a minute, you just were bashing intervention into other nations, and now your saying we need to worry about genocide in Africa? Your spinning what you just said?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I've got a creative nomad, and I love it. The Dell DJ's don't look bad though, but do you really need all that space?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I would have to say confilct. I live in the US and it worries me that we are always into other countries affairs, and not worried about our own well being.

Next, I would have to say economics. These high gas prices cause a chain of reactions. First, you can't drive many places which causes stores to lose buisiness. They in turn raise prices, and it just keeps going from there.

server_crash 64 Postaholic

If people are so worried about the price of software, why not buy OEM?

server_crash 64 Postaholic

I don't get it. They sue people for downloading songs which cost 1$ a piece, but there is server software on P2P networks worth 6-10,000$.
