I have no cd's. It's all on my computer...
Can't be that long ago if it was VB.NET. The first version of that product was released in 2001 :)
It seemed like it to me. I think I was around 12 or 13 at that time....Long time ago!
My first was some thing that would draw things like beziers or something. That was in VB.NET and a long time ago. I haven't really created anything that good except for maybe a nice mortgage calculator.
I've got many favorites, but currently:
Green Day ("Holiday" is the coolest song ever)
Maroon 5
Craig David
Ryan Cabrera
Simple Plan
Cold Play
Ooops! For some reason I was thinking you meant the = sign instead of .equals(). :o
I'll do that for you if you do my pre cal homework.
== compare
= assign
I never used it either, just taking a guess. Actually, I haven't used anythig but notepad. I need to get a copy of something like dreamweaver though because you can't do that much by 'hand'.
Frontpage is about the only other tool that compares to dreamweaver.
Anways, I wrote all my pages from scratch with JEdit.
Note: JEdit kicks butt. It's like duck tape, you can use it for about anything.
My preferred way: Have an external class that extends either Canvas or JPanel and use the paint method there.
I've never dealt with icons on an applet, but whenever I wanted to draw an image onto the applet I never had a problem if I put it in the same file. Why don't you check the java console and see if it's a security restriction or if it's a FileNotFoundException.
JEdit's my pick. It is a bit slow to start up and buffer all the files if you have hundreds like me. I like the highlighting and indention schemes. Most vates or ides never get the indention right. It would be something like this:
public void test()
{
}
When I want it like this.
public void test()
{
}
There is no size limitation of Strings sizes. Only the limitation of heap size..Which I'm guesing is JVM independant?
Freedom of speech is important. Once you take that away then other rights can be taken away. Anways, I guess it's stupid of me to bash this women for speaking out, but I do feel it's a little extreme the way she's doing things.
It's like Cat said, it's done, it's over with.
No matter what the reason for war was, hopefully something good will come out of it. We have to stay there wether people like it or not because leaving a nation in anarchy is worse than a dictator. People choose order over anarchy which is why iraqies wanted sadam back at first. Maybe a new peaceful nation can arise from all this, but who know what will happen.
I'm sorry to hear you lost your java book. That is a disaster and surely you feel an emptyness inside! I've got about 10 java ebooks and if it's legal to give them away you can PM me.
Nope, that's not technically correct. The act of downloading might not itself be illegal, but the use of downloaded goods, if that use breaches copyright and/or user license terms, is clearly illegal. You only need to use it, not share it! In many places, the possession of such downloaded goods is also illegal. In other words, you may not have broken the law by performing the download, but you might well be breaking the law by retaining it after you've done so.
That's what I was meaning. I said it's weird because you can download it possibly legally, but once you have it it's illegal...That doesn't make much sense to me though. Why would it be legal to download, but once you obtain it it's illegal? I mean, shouldn't it be illegal to download?
Sorry for that comment. I get out of hand sometimes and can't control my mouth. :sad:
Anyways, I'm not sure what you mean by people were against the war but for the reconstruction...Wouldn't some means of force be necessary in such a situation?
But the problem is how do you obtain the ip legally? I mean, isn't it legal to download illegal goods but illegal to share those goods? I know that's weird but I thought that's how it went. In that case what if the user didn't share? You could only obtain sufficent evidence by hacking, right? And that would cause a countersuit.
I bet I didn't make much sense!
Millions?
Oh, are you talking about Rwanda or something? Oh wait, we didn't do anything there.
Yes. There are ESTIMATED figures of around a million. Some think around 500 thousand, some more, and some less. But I guess it's like asif said, why don't we just leave them alone, shut up and let them suffer. I mean, if those stupid muslims freaks want to kill each other then fine...Hopefully they kill themselves out..Do the world a freaking favor.
Does it matter of what interest the war is in? I'm guessing you would rather see millions of people being tortured and hung from soccer goal posts, but you are entitled to your beliefs.
Has the thought ever crossed your mind that some people might just not feel to comfortable about the current state of US Foreign Policy? It might surprise you to know that most of the world is a tad alarmed about it, as are quite a growing number of people there ;)
No it hasn't. I don't agree with a lot of the decisions the government makes, but there's not much I can do about. I don't agree with gays being able to marry. I don't agree with ONE liberal having the power to change the constitution. I feel issues like these are of worry. Issues like these are poping up all over the nation and is a sign of weakness and corruption. If our foreign policy has issues then it's because we are trying to HELP to many countried and others don't like it. But that's just my thoughts and I'm not going to sit outside of some officials ranch until he meets me.
I never got into video games that much but if I did I would probably buy used games or ask a friend if I could borrow one for a few days.
You always make me feel bad after a mean comment...Sorry!
Anyways, I'm just plain sick of hearing about it. It's all over the news. I just don't get why that women and other people let the war have so much affect on them. Why don't they let it go, support what's going on and shut up?
What a load of pigs twaddle here, trotted out by those blinded by propaganda!
Now it's the crocodile hunter that's obviously been kicked in the head by a kangaroo and had his brain scorched by the searing heat.
If YOU don't like what we discuss then why not just stay out of it?
For a freehost I would suggest geocities.
Under $2. I'm using a webhost right now that costs 1.95 a month. Great host. I would recommend them anyday for the cost. I think it's called siteocity.com but not sure about that.
I think the purpose now is to provide Iraq with a stable government which will take some time. While doing so we must fight off terrorist which is what everyone thinks it's all about.
I can change the mac address of my router via the router config page. I'm not sure if that will change the ip address though since you still have the modem.
Most proxies only work for port 80 though and can slow your connection down tremendously. I would rather change my mac address through the router config page and have it assign me a new ip address.
Good work though. Should help some people.
I think she has the right to believe what she wants, but why do something like that in a time like this? I mean, our Country needs support, our troops need support. Why do something like that when you don't know what it was like to live under Sadam and stuff like that. Also, it's easy for people to find the wrong in everything and it seems that's much more important these days than taking a look at what we've done good over there. Maybe there are some flaws in our war plan, but aren't there flaws in everything? Is it that hard to realize we are trying to help another nation in turmoil and doing the best we can?
Did you eat it? Squirrel is very tasty, a bit nutty though ;)
:) No. This time of year squirells and other animals are full of fleas and other bugs. I didn't even want my dog around the thing(except to take a picture!).
My dad's best friend is an ex marine and said if her son were still alive, he would slap the crap out of that women. I'm so sick of hearing about her. I can't turn on the news without listening to her rant about the war. It's sad that her son died, but he knew good and well there was a chance of him dieing when he signed up.
No not really. I don't think there's a performance hit at all, but it's excellent practice to include that call, and even I do it. I know I don't have to, but I do it anyway.
I remember seeing someone create a cartoon of another person, and it was just simply amazing. I wish I could find something like that again.
All classes have a default constructor. If it's not present, then it's implicit.
The call to super is also implicit if it's not present. The benifit of calling super is good design practice. Each constructor calls it's super class until it reaches the top of the heiarchy(most likey Object class).
Calling super() yourself just means that the JVM won't have to worry about doing all that themeselves.
Actually I'm not using any of their software packages anymore. The biggest thing is price. I cannot afford much and don't need much right now.
They offer me this:
100mb of storage space
4 gig of data transfer
2 mysql databases
it costs $2 a month
I don't haven't found someone yet that charges like that. I don't need some huge $20 package right now. I only want something small to begin with.
How hard would it be to switch hosts without the site going down?
I want to switch but it would be hard to beat this package I have. It's $2 a month and comes with all kinds of software packages.

When he signed up for the army and the re-signed up, did she think he was a burger flipper or something? This REALLY pisses me off.
Where's the snychronization? Your balance can become negative if you don't sync it.
errmm....
Just like XP, Windows Vista is a 32-bit OS. Just like XP, Windows Vista will have a separate 64-bit version. No matter what version of Windows you run, native 64-bit desktop applications programs are a long way off yet :D
Shows how much I know.
Will this 64 bit crap mean that you can do two 32 bit processes, or will this mean that the processes are just larger? Or did that make no sense at all?
Take for instance the size of an Integer on a 32 bit machine. It's normally 8 bytes, does this mean that it will be the same size on a 64 bit machine, or will the Integers size change to 16 bytes?
I'm sorry if this isn't in the right place.
The webhost I have has been hacked several times. Today it was hacked twice, and it's causing some big traffic loss for me.
Should I stick with this host, or do they realy have issues with being hacked?
I'm terribly sorry, I just read my posting and it does come accross very aggresive....
My apologies if I've offended anyone, it wasn't my intention.
However thank you for the replies, I'll take a look later when I get home.
Once again, sorry and thank you....
Randall
No big deal...We all have our moments! ;)
I'll bet money that one of us answered your question. Actually, all of us were hinting to the same thing.
One for loop counting up, one for loop counting down.
Hi everyone,
Where i live in the US there is this squirrel that has this crazy eyes and he scares everyone. I don't know why but everytime i see that squirrel i feel it hissing my name Richard. I have a feeling that my dog is afraid of the squirrel as well.
I actaully have a nickname for the squirrel, i call him crazy-eyes and he's the bad ass of my backyard
Richard West
:lol: If you never post again, I'll know what happend.
My dog is really small, but not scared of anything, or anybody. It's weird he's so small and like that.
Put java and c together.
Compile like this:
javac HelloDate.java
Run like this:
java HelloDate
If problems persist from there, then it's probably the environment variables.
