Oh and btw, I love to see those monkeys die... *squish*
Eww lol..

Eww lol..
You are correct. :)
Your turn!
I've heard a lot about Sony Ericssons... I like their style..
Lol.
Has anyone read the Google book?
Well, it looks like Westerns are still behind.
So do you believe that dinosaurs lived during the time of humans and now they are extinct? How could species go extinct if god created them? Why would god create humans if he knew that they would just kill all the other species due there phenomenal intelligence?
Well of course they were alive during the time of humans, I believe God created them for some kind of purpose. But it isn't mentioned in detail in the Bible, since Genesis is based around mankind and God. Obviously, there were a lot more creatures than just dinosaurs that were left out of the creation account. If God were to have included every creature in the creation account (well over one billion), such inclusion would have completely lost the spiritual significance of the passage (and would be much longer than the Bible itself). The purpose of the Genesis creation account is to give a description of how God created mankind. But like I also said, dinosaurs are mentioned and described in the Bible, it's just a little vague since there wasn't a word for 'dinosaurs' in the Hebrew language.
I have another question:
"God" created us in his image right? So why do we have tail bones? Why do we have light sensors at the back of our eyes? Why do we get backpain (we are still used to walking on four legs)? Why do we get goosebumps? If god created us in his image, he must be pretty flawed.(I wonder …
What do you mean by: "The only possible escape for the atheist is the invention of a kind of super universe, which can never be confirmed experimentally (hence it is metaphysical in nature, and not scientific)."
Eh, I wasn't directing that towards all atheists. I just know a lot of atheists that are like that.
Lol.. I don't know.. maybe you should try it. :)
Yeah, I noticed. Where are you from?
Duki, knowing how these sorta DaniWeb discussions sometimes get heated, are you sure that you want to take a different side than Christina?
Eh... he always takes a different side than me... I'm used to it. ;)
Ohh... I see...
To lemurexplosion:
It is really hard to understand you... what are you even talking about?
Hey there and Welcome :)
> I use firefox, so I guess I'll just make the font size smaller, manually. =/
Though this would wreck your display when visiting other sites. But since you don't browse a lot, I guess it should be OK.
Actually, it doesn't interfere with any other sites.
Ok, I guess I'll make a new word since it's been 2 days...

5255... lol it's a little gruesome. ;)
Lol.. wow I have never seen that before.
pineapple upside down cake -> desert
Umm.. I would say it does require too much scrolling.. and it's definitely harder on the eyes. I guess I'm just used to the smaller font. I'm not really picky about the blog entries and tutorials but I would like to keep the smaller size on the forums.
Me, Myself, and I!
living for a
Yeah, I don't like the font size either. I liked it much better the other way.
So you believe dinasaurs did not exist? And that
museums are just faking it? Surely you jest...
Actually, yes I do believe dinosaurs existed. It may not say directly "In the beginning, God created dinosaurs" in the Bible, but it does hint about large creatures known today as certain types of dinosaurs. I can show you scriptures if you'd like...
Jewish? Hmm... that's interesting.
Christina do you believe in evolution?
Like 'Stein said, you might want to look at the first few pages of this thread. It has most of my opinions concerning evolution and such...
Why did "god" create the universe?
Hmm.. I don't know.. I really don't understand God's ways... or his mind. But if I find the answers, I'll be sure to tell you.
Or do you mean what domination am I?
Because I am Pentecostal... or Church of God.
Lol.. that's funny :)
You get Sturm.. :)
I put in "The Office."
Now, I will tell you!
Yeah, it is unknown to everyone.. including the angels in Heaven. Only God, the father knows when this will happen.
Where did "god" come from?
Christianity answers the question of who created God in the very first verse of the very first book, Genesis:
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1)
This verse tells us that God was acting before time when He created the universe. Many other verses from the New Testament tells us that God was acting before time began, and so, He created time, along with the other dimensions of our universe:
God has no need to have been created, since He exists either outside time (where cause and effect do not operate) or within multiple dimensions of time (such that there is no beginning of a plane of time). Hence God is eternal, having never been created. Although it is possible that the universe itself is eternal, eliminating the need for its creation, observational evidence contradicts this hypothesis, since the universe began to exist only ~13.7 billion years ago. The only possible …
Im sure it is a good feeling. It is very hard being a atheist. People say that ignorence is bliss. At school I am usaully the most active person in experiments, discussions, etc. One day I decided not to be that active or involved. Not caring has a very nice feeling, not participating has a very nice feeling, not KNOWING has a very nice feeling. Ignorence is bliss. But ignorence is also a stiffling cushion that chokes and steals. AI
The funny thing is that christians try to convert me very often. But the thing is I could never believe in god. I just could not do it.
My pastor used to be atheist/agnostic... but then he said he realized everything he was missing.
Do you fear falling asleep?
No... but death is not simply sleeping. It's the end of everything... at least for you guys.
That He is coming... yes.
The mormons and I have very different opinions... I go to the Church of God... but we too believe in the second coming of Christ.
Latter Day Saints...
Err ... if she selected to not receive email updates on threads she's subscribed to, she shouldn't need to delete any of her thread subscriptions.
Yeah, that's what I don't get... because that's what I did.
Okay... then I guess I'll just delete them.
I think I'm just receiving notifications when new threads are posted.
Well there are two options:
Remain subscribed to threads but choose not to receive email notifications about your subscribed threads.
Delete your thread subscriptions for all threads except those you really want to receive email updates about.
I chose number 1 yesterday... and am still getting emails... but I guess I'll have to try number 2 now.
strawberries -> shortcake
Hmm.. I changed my options concerning the email notifications, and I'm still getting them. :?:
