I know I've said this like a thousand times, but I find so much more peace and hope in God. I have peace because I know that death isn't the end for me.. and I have hope because I will finally meet my Savior face to face.. along with all my other lost loved ones who believed in Him. It's a good feeling to know.
Enough persistance, and you might get an answer.
Yeah... but can't you use both? Cause, I do that sometimes.
Read carefully because you might not comprehend it well enough.

Hehe, what about this one:icon_cheesygrin::icon_evil:
Yeah, I've seen that one... my friend had it I think.
Firefox kills Internet Explorer. ;)
Yes absolutely nothing. I ,like josh, am a nihilist. What evidence is there of life after death? The bible? Hardely. Can someone give me some evidence that there is life after death? Do christians believe that animals go to heaven to? How bout space aliens?Um whats with the crappy smilies?:|
Again, Christianity isn't about evidence or proof, even though there is evidence out there, it's about faith. And.. people who have no assurance of their salvation, fear death. If there is no God, then death would be merely a ceasing of existence, with nothing to fear. However, if Christianity is true, then those who do not believe should fear death, since the fate of believers and non-believers is quite different. But then again, I guess some people are not troubled by that idea of ceasing to exist.
But there is one question I'd like to ask....
Do you not fear never seeing your lost loved ones again?
Yeah, what's the story behind it?
So what's Angels and Demons based on?
Eh, there's just too much evidence supporting the fact that it's not true. Besides that, the author of the book even proclaimed that it was fiction. So that's why I don't believe it.
I kinda wanted to watch it a while back, when it first came out, but never got a chance to.
Yeah, I think so too.
its about a secret society dedicated to protect the bloodline of jesus christ. the story goes that he had a baby to mary magdeline and that the catholic chruch (who dont want that to get out) hunts these people down. Turns out that as the last surviving member of the secret society dies, he leaves clues to this professor (main character) to find out the secret.
Ahh... now I remember why I didn't want to watch it. Lol.
But I don't condemn people for watching it or anything, I mean it is just fiction and nothing more. I think I just didn't like the fact that people thought it was true... =/
yeah you use IMHO when you want to state your view without starting a flameware e.g IMHO macs are too expensive
i dont believe davinci code really but even if its history is flawed, its still a good film.
Oh, that makes a lot of sense. I think I'll start using that from now on. :)
What exactly does the Da Vinci code portray?
Oh.. you're mormon? Interesting...
Do you do the door to door witnessing?
Wonderful. :) Thank you Dani. Lol.
Hmm... do you think there is a setting that can change that?
WaltP - what is your belief? - are you atheist also?
Imho = IN my humble opinion
Ahh... I've never seen that acronym before.
Yeah... I'm beginning to see them after some posts... but I don't know, maybe they were already there.
How you do you stop from getting emails from DaniWeb?
My inbox gets over 100 emails in just one day... and I don't know if there's a setting that can fix it or not.
Do you understand the meaning of relevance?

hah, yea nyc is awesome! I've been there twice, but I don't think I have even seen half of everything there!
I liked saw 2 the best, I enjoy movies that have such a twist like that in the end... saw 3 had a surprising twist too, but I just think the 2nd one is best:cool:
Personally, I liked the Da Vinci code novel much better than the movie... but yea, It's fiction.. I don't think the author intended it to be sacrilegious.. just an absurd, but interesting plot
Me too, it's ridiculous how huge that place is!
I definitely need to watch it... movies like that are pretty brilliant... but sick at the same time lol.
I never really understood the Da Vinci Code...
due to her religious beliefs i think
Correct. :)
wow, this thread is just way off topic,
have you guys noticed even more advertisments and ads on daniweb lately?
Actually, now that I've been paying more attention, I am starting to notice more ads.....
Again speculating on how it works: if you get rep from someone with little rep of their own, you get a small number of points. If you get rep from someone who has a lot of rep, you get more points. This is a really cool dynamic, since the people that have lot of rep are less likely to be impressed by a post than those little rep, and so it adjusts accordingly.
Ahhh.. very understandable.
Yeah, I also saw The Phantom of the Opera on broadway at the Majestic Theatre in New York last summer. It was awesome, I love NY!
I've watched Saw and Saw II, but I haven't had enough guts to watch Saw III yet. And I haven't seen the Da Vinci code, because, well... you know why lol.
potent
Hmm... I personally don't know a lot of people who are mormon. They come to my door all the time though... or maybe that's Jehovah's Witnesses.
Eh.. I've gotten all of my rep points from the geek's lounge. But most of them are not from word games.
Btw: What determines how many points you get from a single rep? Like say, someone gives me a good rep, but it only boosts it up a point. But if someone else gives me a good rep, it boosts it up 10 points. [?]
Hehe.. some of them look funny... but other than that, I like them!
:);) yay!
