I have had my laptop for about 2 years now and it has slowed down to a crawl. I defragmented my C drive and ran various spyware programs within the last month. I need some ways to speed up my computer to return it to tip-top condition.

While talking on AIM, I received some sort of adware that brought up the yupsearch toolbar and when I open up my start window I am missing the programs that are listed above All Programs. Some of the other users arent missing programs but the YupSearch toolbar is still there. …
