Every time I try and select either my computer, my documents , or control panel from the start menu all of my icons disappear and will eventually reappear but the computer does not open the selected item and will sometimes rearrange all desktop icons??????:evil:

My labtop was running one day and an error message popped up saying there had been a fatal error and windows had to shut down. Once restarted the same message kept popping up. I attemtped to reinstall windows XP on my system and during the installation another error popped up …

For some reason when I try to create a new desktop icon, it appears on my acutal desktop not as an icon, but as an exe. file. None of the new icons work at all, and I can't delete any of them b/c it says that they are right protected! …

I'm trying to upgrade my cpu from xp to xp pro. and I keep getting an error during installation. Error is about a NVIDIA AGP filter, says that it is not compatable. Please . . . . . help!
