im trying to upgrade my processor to a 1ghz but i just dont know how to remove the heat sink. most processors are on the motherboard but this processor (SL3F7) is on a card which was in a slot on the motherboard. the heat sink is on the card. hi. my desktop items cant be displayed. i can view properties and change the wallpaper but not display the desktop icons. i can only view the icons through an explorer window. ive scanned using adaware but nothing.
