actually sir, i have my placement session in coming august. amazon, facebook,google,yahoo,microsoft, bain, sail, TI these type of companies are going to come in my campus. so i was thinking that i can do somthing which make me a little bit different from others so i can have an edge from others. that's why i am asking you all GREAT people that what should i do as to improve myself. thanks.

that means having memory from heap is better than having memory from stack ?
but i have felt that malloc function usually takes longer time so as to alocate memory. (malloc also do dynamic allocation). then ?

but, why all other do have it ? any special reason for this feature. I am asking you because i truly don't know the reason for having it (specially in the forumns). thanks.

very nicely explained! like if i want to allocate an int array of 10^7, then difference will be shown ? I have seen that sometimes when i change my vector to int, they run "sufficiently" fast as compared to when i was using vectors. have i observed the right thing ?
1. total memory difference used between both is negligible.
2. time difference between both is negligible.

are they both right ? thanks.

hey! i will advice you one thing here. Just read once CLRS topic AVL trees. the explaination which they have given is blossom! believe me. seen you code a little bit and seen some logical error. have made full AVL tree in last semester. just read once and you will be able to judge yourself. if you still find any problem, then post it here. thanks

if i want an array of 10000 ints and i just nned to use it like array only (not the functions which vector have seprately from array), then i make an array int a[10000] and vector<int>a(10000); then memory allocation time will be different for them ? if yes, then please tell why ? thanks in advance.

daniweb should have a LCD looking button which will be off when that person is not online otherwise green. i have seen on many maths forumns. it is sometimes nice and helpful. we can have this feature if possible :-)

i don't think that you don't know i "try" things or not. i am here from good time and sometimes if anyone(may be experienced) asks questions which is not even logical, than going rude is not a good option. "complexity" is a perception. according to you, 1 question can be damn tuff, according to me that same thing is just a task of few seconds. So saying rudely that "just use little comon sense as DEV c++ is not complex" is not good. otherwise you are more experinced than me, cant say anything to you. thanks

hmm.. ok.. and one more thimnng here only. that when i use %Lf for long double variables in my scanf() or printf() then it print -0.0 for any value in the variable.. althoughi can use it the whole code, there is no problem, but when i print it , it print that. why is it so ?

actually, i am confused now. for scanf() it is okay now. can you a little bit explain more about printf ? if i use "%lf" in printf will it work ?

ohh god! what i was doing.. then why "%f" in printf ? why not "%lf" ?

sir, if i want to print double then i have to use "%f" and when i need to input a double, then "%lf" ? is it what u said ? but i always use %f and it works fine for both cases. please clearify.

actually, i have given a task of a fb development. woek is that when ever any one allow the app, then that app will scan the posts and likes of that person. and that app will have database which will check that words (in posts and likes) with its database and according to that it will suggest the user with its products which that app company has. Can you tell me what is first step which i should do in this ? I have no idea in this. please try to write something, because every word will be helpful to me. thanks
