Hi..I am newbie to dB designing and need some help with my school assignment. The requirement is like this

1. There are 2 types of members(Staff and Student)

2. Staff has no limitation to borrow/book school's resources

3. Student has limitation base on the Course's privilege that they are in. (e.g. IT Student can book computer room for longer period than anyother).

I have just started drawing the diagram and roughly i have come out with attached diagram..Does it make sense ?

I don't think that is an ER diagram.

That seems to be a flow chart to me.

You need to understand the basis difference bewtwen the two.
