get my Gmail back on track

You must use the plain-text feature if you are willing to turn off the HTML and send out standard plain-text emails. However, this feature doesn't support different font types, sizes, and colors. Also, you won’t be able to insert objects and links into plain text emails.

To turn off the HTML from your Gmail, you simply need to follow the steps mentioned below. It’s not a hectic process at all:

  • Launch the browser of your choice and navigate to Gmail.

  • Once you are there, sign in using your email and password.

  • Start composing a new email by clicking the order button, which is visible on the left plain.

  • On the formatting toolbar, click the “plain text” located directly on the top of the compose window; this will automatically turn off the HTML formatting.

  • Click on the “ok” button when a warning pops up that the Plain Text Setting will remove your inserted objects and formatting.

  • Once the email is composed, go ahead as you normally would.
