from my form bean when i am giving input as a german character, from the method request.getParameter(), it's converting it into some other data, can you people help me what should i do.

Perhaps try the JSP forum under Web Development? I don't have that much experience with JSP but of course if you're using a text box in the form then the data would be received as a String object and the German characters would be represented in Unicode (escape sequences). Perhaps you require certain fonts to be installed? But that doesn’t make sense since your browser displays the characters :icon_neutral: Could you show my the HTML code for your form and the code in your servlet?
