Hi guys

I don't request any code help, just want to know how they make windows with themes like this: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/library/PrettyWinApiClass/DevStudioSmall.jpg
or like office 2007
Do they do it with winapi, directx, .net or is it possible for all of em'
And ehm, another question: does winapi have a future? i mean is it possible to make entire (big) programs with it? or will it become umimaginable complex at bigger programs and force me to use .net or mfc

Thanks in advance,
Tigran

I don't mean change the theme of your windows, but only chenge the application theme

Umm I don't want to know HOW to do it, I just want to know if it needs to be done by winapi, .net (asp.net?), mfc, or with directX etc
Just want to know if i learn winapi, will i be able to make such things? (lrearning them in detail is something for the future)

Ow yes, another example: styleXP it had some fancy "glowing" minimize, maximize, close buttons.
That's kindda what i mean.
