We are using foxpro application as a bridge between two systems.Well,at midnight the bridge seems to drop the connection and hence theres no communication betwen the two systems.The network link seems pretty fine.The other issue is that the bridge does not change the date at midnight.This seems to happen every day.Any ideas as to what happens?

Why do you suspect FoxPro to be doing this? How are you getting the real time. Are you just using the time() function, or are you also testing the date() function to be sure you are flipping the days???
Maybe you should use the DateTime() function instead. You need to give more info before you can expect others to figure out your problem.
