Hi everybody

I am asked to develop a search utility in C++. That should search words inside files like pdf, chm, word, excel and txt. The user will provide the directory to be searched and some keywords. Based on the keywords, I have to search these files for the keywords.

I hope searching will be fast using indexing.. I know a little bit about indexing.. But how indexing can be done through our program. I saw some dlls microsoft using for searching through indexing server. How to use those dlls in C++..


Please help me
