what do you want to do with that file?
i dont know much complicated commands of c++...and am using c++ only fom past 2 years......my focus now is to write a snippet in my programme which actually plays a music file from behind....while the output screen is present ......
You can access the music files just like text files. You can do simple task such as copying, cutting etc like this.
To access music files properly, you need to follow the encoding technique of the file format.
If you google "PlaySound c++" you will get several threads that show you how to do that, such as this one. You will need to create another thread to play the music so that the main part of the program can continue to run normally
