I wanna develop a fingerprint application for school project with sql server as backend. I have seen SDK's for Msoft fingerprint reader. I liked Gruila's SDK but it is very poorly documented and their discussion forum is dead community.

I want to know how to initialize controls, save image and compare images? Their sample is vb.net 2005 but am in VB.2010 and after conversion, it gives errors.

Any other SDK with clear documentation on how to use is welcome as well.
