I just had a very general question... I'm learning C++ and am seeing the term/variable RightHandSide used. What is the significance/origin of this and is this generally used with pointers? Is this just a reminder to the programmer?

Thanks

It usually refers to the expression on the right-hand side of an assignment operator (=).
