I had an exam in database.
during the tutorials we were instructed to create a query and run it.
The exam question only asked to create a query. I did just that n got it wrong.
Would u say that a create query question always expects the query to run?
The other anomoly was Append.
Is it data base language that these words mean to create the action as well as execute them?

Hi Kim,
Essentially a query is an instruction to a data source eg a database.
So at the very least, the examiner would expect it to either Create, Read, Update or Delete (CRUD) some data.
