I am newbie to C. Now one urgent application i got that is..
I have to talk to the other equipment through some defined protocol using serial COM1 port in the windows environment.
means i have to send 1 Command (Bytes of Hexa data) from PC as a master in C & should capture the Reply (Bytes of Data) from the equipment.
what to do? some body can give me hand....

I'd suggest you get a 32-bit compiler, one which is compatible with your OS then.
