hi iam new in vb.net.. and what i am doing is i am making time in and time out record. my problem is, i don't know how to stop the time in logging out..
can somebody help?

You could get the stop time in a Form Closing event. That is if you are using a Forms application, but I'm only guessing, you did not mention.
