Is string primitive value in java? What is difference between primitive value and primitive data type in java?
Thanks in advance.
Java has 8 primitive types: byte, short, int, long, float, double, boolean, char. These just have a value - they are not Objects. Their values are primitive values.
Strings are Objects - they have instance variables, methods etc
