Would you be willing to share what Topic 1 to Topic 3 are all about? It seems that you are seeking help with a homework assignment. Nothing wrong with that. We can help you understand the problem and guide you to find a solution for yourself. That doesn't tell me what version of Python you are using. Go to a command shell and type "python". It will respond with a python shell including a python version number. It will likely be 3.something.
