Yesterday, my VS2008 IDE began allowing only 1 document/tab to be present at a time in the Text Editor (vb). I've been using this solution for 5 months with no problem up to now.
I've looked at various tools/options, but can't see anything that does, or should, help.
At the same time, the system inserted an extra load handler for me.load as well as mybase.load, and a button is not being activated..
Any help will be appreciated,

Jump to Postrun setup.exe for VS2008 again, and click repair from options. Or totally remove it and reinstall it.

Basically Visual Studio 2008 is a buggy piece of shit. It or your version control system could have put your project file into a buggy state, though.
